$22.00

DETAILS:

CENTURIES OLD RECIPE | ROYAL TABLE | STONE JAR

(250 G)

Product of France

INGREDIENTS: Water, mustard seeds, vinegar, salt, spices

WHY WE LOVE IT: Moutarde de Meaux Pommery has been served at the tables of the kings of France since 1632.

BRAND’S STORY:

It was in the year 1760 that a superior of the ancient religious order of Meaux transmitted to the Pommery family the secret recipe of their marvelous specialty “Moutarde des Chanoines”, the Abbot’s Mustard. The Pommery family has carefully guarded this secret of this recipe. Brillat-Savarin called it the mustard for ‘gourmets’, and said, “If it isn’t Meaux, it isn’t Mustard.”

Made from carefully selected ingredients, its unique preservation is thanks to its stoneware jar. As a guardian of a centuries-old tradition, Pommery® Moutarde de Meaux® has been crafted exclusively by father and son for many generations near the gates of Meaux. In 2019, it was named the World's Best Mustard at the World-Wide Mustard Competition. With a robust grain and delicious, slightly nutty flavor, this all-natural mustard is the choice of professional chefs and fine restaurants worldwide.
