I. GOOJ
The original Gooj is created as a result of cultural diffusion. Each element of the Gooj clay body depicts the historical significance of what was once a necessity. The curvature of the handle is designed to grip with ease, as the delicate spout is intended to supplement the mastery of pouring. Gooj’s sophisticated silhouette fits your home without being an obstruction on the dinner table. The vessel is meant to be used for water, wine, and pretty much any liquid of your choosing.
The vessel is vitrified, porcelaneous stoneware fired to 2200° Fahrenheit making it a high-fire clay body. The interior is sealed inside with glaze, ensuring an additional layer of food and drink safety. Each vessel is unique with its own crevices and varying nuances, as each product is shaped by hand in a 10-step process, after being slip-cast.
