II. GOBLET

The Goblet is the second product designed and created by GOOJ. It is the perfect accompaniment to the Gooj vessel. When we created the Gooj ewer, we felt it needed an ally. The Goblet is designed with an intentional slant at the rim to create both an asymmetrical view and feel; connected to a solid-filled stem, the Goblet remains grounded on any surface. Whether you are setting a table for 1 or 12, the Goblet elevates the 'dinnerscape' unlike any other wine glass.

The goblet is vitrified, porcelaneous stoneware fired to 2200° Fahrenheit making it a high-fire clay body. The interior is sealed inside with glaze, ensuring an additional layer of food and drink safety. Each goblet is unique with crevices and varying nuances as each product is shaped by hand in a 10-step process, after being slip-cast.
